* All victims of Agent Orange will receive Tet gifts.
From January 21-23, 2025, in Bac Lieu , Ms. Tran Thi Hoa Ry, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Affairs Council, visited and presented 200 Tet (Lunar New Year) gifts to impoverished ethnic minority people in the province. These gifts were from the National Assembly's Ethnic Affairs Council and the Government's Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs to the people of Bac Lieu.

At each location, the comrade cordially inquired about the well-being of the families, offered encouragement, and personally presented gifts. In addition, the leader of the National Assembly's Ethnic Affairs Committee shared useful information about the National Assembly's activities over the past year and important future directions. In particular, the comrade emphasized that the National Assembly will continue to pay attention to and enact appropriate policies to support ethnic minority communities in improving their lives.
Comrade Tran Thi Hoa Ry also announced that the National Assembly will soon consider and approve two more new national target programs, bringing the total to five. This is a welcome sign, showing the Party and State's concern for improving the lives of the people, especially ethnic minorities.
On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Affairs Committee wished the people a prosperous and healthy new year. He also encouraged them to actively respond to the State's policies, unite, and help each other to build a prosperous and happy life together.
Also on this occasion, Comrade Tran Thi Hoa Ry presented an additional 400 gifts to members of the Bac Lieu Women's Association who are in difficult circumstances.
* On January 22nd and 23rd, 2025, the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin organized three special delegations to personally deliver Tet (Lunar New Year) gifts to its members and the families of the victims. The delegations included leaders from the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial People's Committee, representatives from sponsoring organizations and individuals, and local authorities.
Ms. Vo Thi Hong Thoai, Chairwoman of the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, shared: "During this period, the Provincial Association donated approximately 300 gift packages, including essential necessities and a portion of cash to support the families."
To implement this meaningful program, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin at all levels in the province has continuously mobilized businesses, organizations, and individuals to contribute, thanks to which nearly 2,000 members in the province were able to enjoy a warmer and more fulfilling Tet holiday.

At the gift-giving ceremony held at Vo Thi Sau Secondary School (Bac Lieu City), Ms. Ngo Thu Ha (residing in Ward 1), representing the recipients, expressed her deep gratitude to the Party, the State, and the community for their continued care, support, and warm feelings for the victims of Agent Orange/dioxin. These meaningful gifts are not only material support but also a tremendous source of spiritual encouragement, instilling faith and strength in the members and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin to overcome difficulties, challenges, and disadvantages in life, and to look towards a brighter future.
