Comrade Phan The Tuan congratulated the Buddhist Sangha of Bac Giang province on the occasion of Buddha's birthday.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phan The Tuan, Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee; Most Venerable Thich Thien Van, Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee; representatives of a number of departments, branches and sectors of Bac Giang province and city, along with a large number of monks, nuns and Buddhists.

Vesak is a major holiday celebrated annually to commemorate the birth of Gautama Buddha. The theme of this year's Vesak message is "Solidarity and Tolerance for Human Dignity: Buddhist Insight for World Peace and Sustainable Development".

In a solemn atmosphere, the Grand Ceremony took place with traditional rituals such as: Reading the Buddha's birthday message of the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; reading the Buddha's birthday speech on Buddhist calendar 2569 - solar calendar 2025; offering incense and flowers; bathing the Buddha; releasing animals, praying for national peace and prosperity, world peace , and happiness for all living beings...

On this occasion, comrade Phan The Tuan congratulated the provincial Buddhist Sangha and all monks, nuns and Buddhists. He affirmed that over the years, monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province have continuously promoted the tradition of patriotism, accompanied the nation, actively participated in emulation movements, charitable and humanitarian activities, and built new rural areas, contributing to socio-economic development and maintaining local security and order.

He hopes that the monks, nuns, and Buddhists will continue to accompany the Party Committee, government, and Fatherland Front at all levels of the province to join hands in building Bac Giang homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Phan The Tuan presented flowers and 50 million VND to the Buddhist Sangha of Bac Giang province.
