With continuous efforts in promoting investment attraction and economic diplomacy activities, Long An province has achieved many outstanding results in both investment and trade.
Regarding foreign investment, in the first 8 months of 2024, the province granted 76 new projects, with newly granted investment capital reaching more than 570 million USD. To date, the province has 1,339 projects with registered capital of more than 11.5 billion USD,...
Long An has received 7 projects from Indian enterprises investing in the province with a total capital of nearly 90 million USD. Long An received and inaugurated the project "Construction of a 3-classroom building at Nguyen Van Dinh Primary School, Binh Phong Thanh Town, Moc Hoa District, Long An Province", through the Quick Impact Project Program (QIP) within the framework of the Development Assistance Program under the Mekong - Ganga Cooperation funded by the Government of India, worth 50,000 USD.
On behalf of the government and people of Long An province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa expressed his deep gratitude for the valuable support of the Government of India and the Consul General himself. He believed that the friendly and cooperative relationship between India and Vietnam, especially with Long An province, would continue to develop strongly in the future.
As the Consul General prepares to hand over his duties to his successor, Mr. Pham Tan Hoa hopes that the Consul General will continue to maintain his interest and support for Long An province.
