On the afternoon of September 5, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center; Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh - Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day chaired a meeting on related contents during the extended period of the Exhibition.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee, along with leaders of the ministries: Finance, Industry and Trade, Government Office , and representatives of Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company.

After listening to the opinions of relevant ministries, branches and units, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged and commended the efforts of the units, and said that the Exhibition had an unprecedented scale and stature, was carefully prepared, and harmoniously combined traditional and modern elements. The event attracted enthusiastic response from the people, with up to one million visitors per day. This result is a testament to the joint efforts of all participating ministries, branches, localities and businesses.
In order to meet the needs and aspirations and create conditions for people to have more time to visit and experience the activities and events at the Exhibition, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg dated September 2, 2025 on extending the time of the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day to September 15.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested units to ensure service quality during the extended period, mobilize human resources, arrange appropriate shifts, and mobilize volunteers for the extended days.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, considering this an honor and duty - "once in 80 years", to join hands and contribute to the overall success of the Exhibition.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism continues to maintain and supplement cultural and artistic programs; coordinate with localities in the culinary train area of 34 provinces and cities to innovate menus and ensure quality to increase the attractiveness of visitors and experiences.
Security, health and environmental sanitation subcommittees must maintain operations at the highest level, ensuring absolute safety and creating the most favorable conditions for visitors.
The Ministry of Finance shall preside over and closely coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to carefully review and synthesize the funding needed for support from the central budget and report to competent authorities on balancing and arranging funding to support ministries, branches, localities and relevant agencies during the duration of the Exhibition.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, considering this an honor and duty - "once in 80 years", to join hands and contribute to the overall success of the Exhibition.
