In the first six months of the year, agencies effectively implemented inter-agency coordination regulations. Authorities discovered and prosecuted 431 new cases involving 980 defendants, a decrease of 12 cases but an increase of 123 defendants compared to the same period in 2025. The handling of crime reports and requests for prosecution was carried out in accordance with legal regulations; many complex cases were promptly addressed through coordinated efforts, preventing wrongful convictions or the failure to prosecute criminals.
In the process of resolving criminal cases, agencies have closely coordinated in evaluating evidence and applying applicable laws to determine the crime and the appropriate penalty, ensuring strict and fair handling of cases, holding the right person accountable for the right crime. For civil, administrative, and economic cases, coordination in gathering documents and evidence, participating in litigation, and resolving complex legal situations has been carried out promptly, contributing to improved case resolution quality and reducing prolonged disputes.
Coordination between the People's Courts, the People's Procuracy, and the Civil Enforcement Agency has been strengthened right from the pronouncement of judgments and interpretations of court decisions, creating favorable conditions for the organization of enforcement work. Inter-agency bodies have also proactively coordinated in verifying the conditions for enforcement, coercing enforcement, and handling assets, especially in complex cases with high value and multiple parties, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of enforcement and ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the State, organizations, and citizens.
Along with the achievements, the conference also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations such as: Coordination in handling some cases and incidents was not always truly effective; information exchange between agencies in some areas was slow; and the implementation of the new criminal investigation model between the Investigation Agency, the People's Procuracy, and the People's Court lacked consistency.
During the conference, delegates from various units focused on analyzing the causes of difficulties and obstacles, while also proposing numerous solutions to further improve inter-agency coordination in the last six months of 2026. In particular, the units unanimously agreed to continue to thoroughly understand and effectively implement the resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels, as well as the resolutions and directives of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on internal affairs and judicial reform.
Proactively research, update, and promptly implement new legal regulations, ensuring consistent and correct application of the law in investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments; closely and effectively coordinate among agencies in receiving and processing reports, resolving cases and incidents, ensuring that the right person is punished for the right crime according to the law, preventing wrongful convictions and ensuring that no criminals escape justice. All sectors will continue to strengthen discipline and order in public service, building a team of judicial officials who are politically sound and professionally competent, meeting the requirements of judicial reform in the new situation.
