Cao Bang is a province in the Northeast region of Vietnam . The administrative center of the province is Cao Bang City , 279 km from Hanoi . Cao Bang Province has a natural land area of 6,690.72 km², a limestone plateau mixed with dirt mountains, with an average altitude of over 200 m, the border area has an altitude of 600-1,300 m above sea level.
