Women in the capital city send songs to honor President Ho Chi Minh.

On May 16th, Cluster No. 1 of the Hanoi City Women's Union organized a cultural and artistic festival to commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026) and to celebrate the successful conclusion of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Emulation Cluster No. 1 comprises 11 wards: Dong Da (the cluster leader), Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo, Cua Nam, Lang, Kim Lien, O Cho Dua, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, and Hong Ha.

Speaking at the festival, the Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Women's Union of Dong Da Ward, and Head of Emulation Cluster No. 1, Pham Thi Tam, affirmed: During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always showed deep affection and special attention to the women's movement. He once said: "The beautiful land of Vietnam is made even more beautiful and radiant by the efforts of our women, young and old, who weave and embroider it."

Inspired by President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, in recent times, female cadres and members of the Women's Union in Hanoi in general and Emulation Cluster No. 1 in particular have continuously strived, innovated, and actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, building happy families, developing the economy , and protecting the environment.

Learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh's example, the female cadres and members of Emulation Cluster No. 1 have concretized this through practical projects and daily activities. These include the spirit of mutual support through the "Rice Jar of Compassion" movement to help poor women and children; and the awareness of environmental protection through the "Green Living" model, sorting waste at source, and expanding the number of flower-lined streets. Each member strives to be confident, self-respecting, loyal, and capable, excelling in both public and domestic affairs, worthy of being fragrant flowers in the garden offered to President Ho Chi Minh.

In a meticulously prepared artistic setting, the festival program consisted of two parts: "Praising Beloved Uncle Ho" and "Aspiration - Faith - Homeland". With 12 outstanding performances, the program contributed to creating a vibrant atmosphere of emulation and determination to successfully fulfill political tasks.
