At the 25C road construction site, multiple construction teams have been reinforced, with earthmoving and road compaction vehicles concentrating their work in the area directly connecting to Gate 1 of Long Thanh Airport. Teams are scheduled for overtime and extra shifts, taking advantage of sunny days to accelerate progress.

According to Mr. Truong Quang Huy, the engineer in charge at the project site, the construction teams are focusing on completing each area, especially the sections where the ground is already cleared. Construction equipment has also been increased, with nearly 10 vehicles and machines working simultaneously at many points, striving to accelerate progress as quickly as possible.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Phat, the project manager for the construction of Road 25B, the roadbed and surface construction is currently about 70% complete, and the entire project has reached approximately 45% of the contracted volume. The goal is to complete the main components by June 30th. Following that, the contractors will proceed with road marking, traffic signs, and putting the entire route into operation.

The 25C road project, from National Highway 51 to Provincial Road 19, has a length of 2.65km and is planned with a complete cross-section width of 100m and a design speed of 80km/hour. In phase 1, the route is being invested in with a cross-section width of 45m. This route has a total investment of over 647 billion VND.

The project to upgrade Road 25B, the section from Nhon Trach to National Highway 51, with a total length of over 9.2km, is also being accelerated; however, land clearance issues are currently a major bottleneck, preventing the project from meeting its planned schedule.

The 25B road project is planned with a cross-section width of 80m, including a two-way main road (12m on each side), parallel roads on both sides (8m on each side), along with a central median and a median separating the main road from the parallel roads, with a total investment of over 1,493 billion VND, including land acquisition costs.

Previously, on April 21, 2026, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province (now Dong Nai City), Nguyen Van Ut, conducted a site inspection of the 25B and 25C road projects and emphasized that these are key projects of the locality to serve the connection with Long Thanh Airport. Dong Nai has committed to the Government to complete these projects by the end of June 2026; therefore, the units must strive to fulfill this commitment. Mr. Nguyen Van Ut requested the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board to urge contractors to accelerate construction progress while ensuring the quality of the works.
