Tien Giang women promote the application of digital technology in business

100 female cadres and members in Tien Giang province were trained to provide knowledge and skills in applying digital technology in business activities.

On April 22, the Women's Union of Tien Giang province organized a community communication training course to guide the application of digital technology in business and inform about the start-up results of successful models in the province.

This is an activity under the Project "Supporting Women Entrepreneurs" for the period 2017-2025 (Project 939).

Attending and speaking at the training session, Vice President of the Women's Union of Tien Giang province Nguyen Thi Kieu Tien informed: 2025 is the final year of Project 939, also the year to summarize the period 2017 - 2025. Therefore, the activities of the year, especially the propaganda and guidance on the application of digital technology today are even more important, demonstrating the efforts, determination and companionship of the Union at all levels in continuing to create a strong influence for the women's start-up movement of the province.

Project 939 has created a great source of motivation, empowering thousands of women in Tien Giang province to firmly step on the journey of starting a business, mastering the economy , mastering their lives.

Women members attend training class

At the training course, 100 female cadres and members in the province were provided with useful knowledge in business activities by representatives of the Department of Science and Technology and officials of the Provincial Women's Union such as: Instructions on applying digital technology to business activities, sales technology, digital marketing skills, marketing, how to write product promotion content, livestream sales; customer care, creating product information on QR codes....

The members boldly exchanged knowledge and experience from reality to ask and improve together. Through the training course, with practical and useful content, it will help members and women effectively apply in selling and promoting products on digital platforms.

It is known that, implementing Project 939, in Tien Giang, 732 women have been supported to start a business (reaching more than 3.5 times the set target); 13 cooperatives and 15 cooperative groups owned by women have been established and developed sustainably, creating jobs for hundreds of female workers; 56 business skills training classes and more than 320 vocational training classes have been organized, helping nearly 10,000 women improve their capacity and skills in the process of starting a business.

Notably, up to now, 100% of the Association's bases have applied digital technology in propaganda as well as Association activities; forming 19 women's groups with 4.0 technology.

The Women's Union at all levels has organized hundreds of festivals and start-up competitions, with more than 1,100 business ideas (including 1 project winning a national award). The above figures are not only a testament to the sense of responsibility and persistent efforts of the Women's Union at all levels, but also clearly demonstrate the role and great potential of women in local economic development, in the digital age...
