An Nhon ward has established a sister ward relationship with Ia Krel commune.

(GLO) - On the afternoon of January 24th, An Nhon ward and Ia Krel commune held a ceremony to establish a fraternal relationship in accordance with Directive No. 03-CT/TU, dated August 7, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.

At the ceremony, after the two localities reported on their socio-economic development and national defense and security situation, they proceeded to sign a memorandum of understanding establishing a fraternal relationship.

Accordingly, the two localities will support each other in building clean and strong Party committees, governments, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and other socio -political organizations; share experiences in leadership, guidance, and management; and build solidarity among cadres, Party members, and the people of the two localities. Both sides will exchange experiences and support each other in Party building, internal political security, inspection, supervision, and Party branch activities, etc.

In the economic field, the two sides will exchange and share experiences in poverty reduction, developing residential areas in a civilized and modern direction, developing traditional crafts and OCOP products, and promoting and attracting investment in accordance with the potential advantages of each locality.

Both sides also provided materials and equipment to schools; organized cultural, artistic, and sports exchange activities; supported the construction of houses for poor households, and donated gifts to poor students. The two localities also strengthened information sharing and exchanged experiences on mass mobilization, ensuring security and order, and effectively combating various types of crime.

On this occasion, An Nhon ward donated 30 million VND to Ia Krel commune and presented 40 gift packages to policy beneficiary households in Ia Krel commune, each gift package worth 500,000 VND.
