In 2026, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward will continue to focus on leading and directing the implementation of solutions to exploit potential and strengths, accelerate socio-economic development, and further affirm its position as the central urban area in the southern part of the province.

Thanks to these efforts, the local economy maintained stability in 2025. The total value of products from all economic sectors reached 8,412 billion VND; the shift was on the right track, with trade and services accounting for 81.8%; industry and construction accounting for 16.09%; and the average growth rate of total product value was 10.1% compared to 2024. State budget revenue reached 56.2 billion VND, equivalent to 198.8% of the plan. Cultural and social fields, education, health, and social security were given due attention and implemented effectively; the poverty rate decreased to 0.08%, and the near-poverty rate decreased to 0.06%. National defense and security were maintained; urban order gradually improved. In particular, in the context of complex natural disasters, the locality promptly organized responses and provided support to people to overcome damage and quickly stabilize their lives and production.

Building a core urban area.

The consolidation of central wards has opened up a vast and integrated urban development space, creating favorable conditions for Phan Rang ward to plan long-term, attract investment, and implement key projects. In particular, the development axis along the Dinh River, new urban areas, and commercial and service streets are being completed, giving Phan Rang an increasingly modern, civilized, and developed urban appearance.

Mr. Le Hoai Nam stated: "In its development orientation, Phan Rang ward is identified as the administrative and economic center, a core urban area creating momentum for the development of urban areas, trade and services, tourism, education , and high-quality healthcare in the southern part of the province. 2026 is the first year of implementing the 2026-2030 five-year development plan. Phan Rang ward has identified its key tasks as improving the efficiency of management and administration; focusing on trade and services as a breakthrough; promoting investment in technical and socio-economic infrastructure; and improving the quality of life for its people."

Furthermore, the locality focuses on effectively managing urban planning, land use planning, and construction order; prioritizing the development of riverside urban areas; and building green, clean, beautiful, modern, and civilized cities. At the same time, it promotes administrative reform, digital transformation, and the development of a team of officials who "dare to think, dare to act, and dare to take responsibility," contributing to improved effectiveness and efficiency in socio-economic development management, ensuring national defense and security, and creating a solid foundation, mindset, and strong momentum for breakthroughs in the new development phase.

Key targets for 2026:

The growth rate of total product value reaches 13% or more; state budget revenue in the area is 115.8 billion VND; the proportion of industry - construction and trade - services is over 98%; total social investment capital is 924 billion VND (an increase of approximately 20% compared to 2025); per capita income increases by 12.5% ​​compared to 2025; the multidimensional poverty rate is reduced to below 0.06%; the level of satisfaction of people and businesses with the government reaches 100%; the ward meets the standard of "Safe in security and order".
