Phu Yen Ward organizes a seminar titled "Stories from the Time of War and Fire".

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Yen ward, in coordination with the Youth Union and the Veterans Association of the ward, organized a seminar titled "Stories from the Time of War and Fire".

The panel discussion included exemplary veterans Truong Thi Minh Thu and Nguyen Van Uyen, and Le Hieu Vy, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ngo Gia Tu High School and a young outstanding figure from Dak Lak province who received the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2026 from the Central Youth Union.

At the seminar, veterans shared authentic and moving stories about a time of arduous yet heroic war. Ms. Truong Thi Minh Thu emotionally recounted her journey of joining the revolution at the age of 14, the courage of a 19-year-old female Party branch secretary, and her unwavering will during her imprisonment by the enemy. Mr. Nguyen Van Uyen spoke of his youthful days putting aside his studies to go to war; of the fierce years on the battlefield and the overwhelming joy on the day the country was reunified.

Representing the younger generation, Le Hieu Vy, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ngo Gia Tu High School, expressed her emotion and pride in listening to the stories from the veterans. Hieu Vy affirmed that today's youth always remember the contributions of previous generations, viewing it not only as a source of pride but also as a responsibility to continue their legacy. According to Hieu Vy, preserving and spreading revolutionary ideals needs to be concretized through practical actions; at the same time, a new approach is needed to make history more accessible to young people. "These real-life stories have helped us understand that history is not distant, but very close and very real," she said.

The seminar "Stories from the Time of Fire and Flowers" is a meaningful activity that contributes to educating about revolutionary traditions and fostering ideals, ethics, and lifestyles for youth union members. Through this, it continues and spreads historical values ​​in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.

On this occasion, the Veterans Association of Phu Yen Ward presented 15 gifts to members who are war invalids with difficult circumstances in the locality.
