Initially, the model was piloted in 44 households in Group 9, Sa Giang Hamlet, Sa Dec Ward. The installation costs were covered by charitable donations. Equipping households with fire and explosion-proof circuit breakers contributes to ensuring electrical safety in daily life and reducing the risk of fires caused by short circuits – one of the leading causes of fires and explosions in residential areas today.

During the installation process, authorities simultaneously disseminated information and guided residents on safe electricity usage, inspected household electrical systems, and raised awareness of proactive fire and explosion prevention. Many households expressed their delight at receiving practical equipment that contributes to ensuring electrical safety for their families.

Mr. Dao Phuc Duc, residing in Sa Giang hamlet, Sa Dec ward, shared: “Previously, my family hadn't installed fire-resistant circuit breakers because it was expensive and we didn't fully understand their function. Now, with the support of the fire prevention and fighting forces and the electricity sector, who provided free installation and specific instructions, I feel very reassured. This is a very meaningful model; if it is replicated, it will help many households, especially disadvantaged ones, improve safety in electricity usage.”
In recent times, Sa Dec ward has implemented many effective fire prevention and fighting models such as: "Safe neighborhood fire prevention and fighting groups" and "Public fire fighting points". These models not only raise community awareness but also increase proactiveness in preventing and handling incidents at the grassroots level, contributing to protecting the lives and property of the people and minimizing fire and explosion incidents in the area.
