Negotiations between PSG and former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann broke down after weeks of talks.
According to L'Equipe , PSG will not be signing Nagelsmann as previously rumored. The German coach was once a leading candidate to replace Christophe Galtier as manager of the Parc des Princes. However, the two sides failed to reach an agreement on key terms after two weeks of negotiations.

The reigning Ligue 1 champions must adapt to a new approach, and this process needs to be accelerated as they want to secure their position before the 2023-2024 pre-season tour.
Nagelsmann led Bayern Munich against PSG in the Champions League round of 16 last season, helping the German club secure an impressive 3-0 victory over two legs. However, shortly after this triumph, Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern, despite the club still having a chance to win a treble. The German club's decision was shocking and led to a crisis in the latter stages of the season. While they successfully defended their Bundesliga title, they failed in the German Cup and, more importantly, the Champions League. As a consequence, senior executives such as Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic were dismissed.
Alongside the search for a new coach, PSG is once again facing trouble regarding the future of their star player, Kylian Mbappe. The French striker has just announced that he will not renew his contract, forcing PSG to sell him in this summer's transfer window if they don't want to lose him for free next year.
This time, PSG took a firm stance, declaring that Mbappe had only two options: extend his contract or leave this summer. However, that statement doesn't seem to have intimidated the 24-year-old striker. Mbappe affirmed his readiness to play for PSG next season and then leave as a free agent.
