Marcus Rashford is rediscovering his form with spectacular performances for Barcelona on loan from Manchester United.

This has attracted the attention of PSG, who are interested in signing the English attacking player for the 2026/27 season.

Earlier this week, in the match against PSG, Rashford provided an assist for Ferran Torres to open the scoring.

Despite Barca's 1-2 defeat to PSG , Opta data rated Rashford among the top 5 players in the match (considering players from both teams) – ahead of Lamine Yamal or Pedri.

This was also Rashford's sixth consecutive game in which he was involved in a goal for Barca – scoring two goals and providing five assists. Including his goal in England's 5-0 win against Serbia, that makes it seven consecutive games.

Having witnessed Rashford's performance in the recent Champions League, coach Luis Enrique is determined to bring him to PSG .

In Rashford's loan agreement, Barca has a buy-back clause of around 30 million euros (26 million pounds), but it's not mandatory.

PSG are taking advantage of this to conduct negotiations with the Old Trafford club – who have completely excluded the striker, who will turn 28 on October 31st, from their plans.

According to sources from Spain, PSG are reportedly preparing a €45 million transfer offer to persuade Manchester United to sell Rashford.

PSG already possesses a formidable attacking lineup, but the European champions still want to add Rashford to their squad.

This allows Luis Enrique to rotate his squad, avoiding unfortunate injuries – something Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Desire Doure are currently suffering from.

Rashford himself wants to play for Barca long-term because he admires Lamine Yamal. However, the final decision rests with MU, and this depends on the economic benefits the Red Devils receive.
