Attending the program were former comrades who were heads of the Military Region 7 Command through the periods, leaders and commanders of agencies, units and enterprises in the Military Region, along with typical examples in the Emulation Movement for Victory in the period of 2019 - 2024 in implementing Directive 05 on studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh , officers and soldiers who excellently completed their tasks participating in the parade, march and the peak emulation campaign "Lightning Speed - Victory" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification of the Military Region 7.

At the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command Hall, Major General Pham Hai Trung, Commander of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command, delivered a welcoming speech, highly appreciating the historical role, feats and outstanding contributions of the Military Region 7 to the cause of national defense. He also informed about the activities of preserving Uncle Ho's body and new steps forward when the Ordinance on management and protection of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Site takes effect from May 19, 2025.

At the ceremony, the delegation of Military Region 7 reported to Uncle Ho the outstanding achievements of the Military Region's armed forces in recent years: Building nearly 2,000km of border patrol roads; more than 800 residential houses adjacent to militia posts; nearly 2,000 gratitude houses; maintaining 10 standing militia companies; international twinning with many friendly military units... In particular, the Military Region successfully undertook the preparation and participation in the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, leaving a deep impression, spreading the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era.

At the end of the ceremony, the delegation moved to the Vietnam Military History Museum, offered incense at the Memorial Temple for heroic martyrs and visited typical historical artifacts and documents about the process of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Army, including the Military Region 7.
