Le Chan District: The 13th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of Vinh Niem Ward, term 2024 - 2029

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of March 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Niem Ward, Le Chan District held the 23rd Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of the Ward, term 2024 - 2029. Attending the Congress were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the District; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the Ward; Heads of branches, unions, Party Cell Secretaries, Heads of Residential Groups in the ward.

In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has focused on the grassroots, practiced democracy, cared for the legitimate and legal rights of all classes of people, mobilized people to participate in building a clean and strong Party and government, fully performed civic duties, and contributed with the entire Party Committee to successfully complete socio-economic, security and defense targets in the years.

Implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/HĐND City, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee mobilized the People to renovate and upgrade 140 alleys with over 2,534 tons of city-issued cement, installed 218 light bulbs, planted 216 trees, and contributed over 6 billion VND; mobilized the People to participate in fire prevention and fighting, so far 20/20 residential groups have deployed the model "Peaceful residential groups", built 26 "Self-managed security and order inter-family groups"; 10 fire prevention and fighting inter-family groups; 54 public fire fighting points; trained fire prevention and fighting knowledge for 7,467 participating households. Supported the construction of a new "red scarf" house for children in difficult circumstances with a value of over 200 million VND.

The campaign to build the Action Month for the Poor and the Poor Fund has been implemented by the Front 20/20 Residential Groups, mobilizing over 800 million VND. Every year, the ward mobilizes more socialized resources in kind and facilities to support 15 health insurance cards, build 4 new houses, repair 14 "Great Solidarity" houses with a total support cost of over 1 billion VND; the Ward Fatherland Front and the Fatherland Front Working Committee support the repair of 2 houses for relatives of young men joining the army with an amount of nearly 300 million VND.

In the site clearance work, the ward Fatherland Front participated as a member of the resettlement compensation council to inventory and approve the compensation support regimes for residential structures to ensure they were correct and sufficient according to regulations. Coordinated with the entire political system day and night, supporting the movement of furniture and vehicles; mobilized relatives and 716 households to relocate and hand over clean land for 14 projects with an area of nearly 36 hectares to ensure the schedule assigned by the city and district.

The 23rd Executive Committee, term 2024 - 2029, was introduced to the Congress.

In the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward will promote propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people from all walks of life, strengthen social consensus, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; improve the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism, promote democracy, participate in Party and State building; mobilize people to compete in labor, be creative, effectively carry out campaigns and emulation movements; improve the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs and work with overseas Vietnamese; continue to innovate the organizational apparatus, improve the capacity of the Front at all levels; build a neighborhood group and residential area that is united, consensual, secure, safe, prosperous and happy.

The congress elected comrade Tran Thanh Tung to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, term XXIII, 2024 - 2029; at the same time, it elected official delegates and alternate delegates to attend the 17th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district.
