Roads and offices are regularly cleaned and maintained by the people and officers and soldiers. Households and military units maintain order and take care to keep the landscape neat and tidy.

At the same time, the dissemination and updating of information on the mainland related to the 14th Party Congress was maintained regularly for the people, cadres, and soldiers. Amidst the national celebration, the military and people of Truong Sa looked forward to the Congress with unwavering and strong faith, placing absolute trust in the leadership of the Party.
Speaking to a reporter from the Public Security Newspaper, Lieutenant Le Hong Thai, Commander of Detachment 1, Combat Group 1, Sinh Ton Island, said: “During this time, we are regularly informed by our commanders about the 14th Party Congress and updated on the atmosphere of the Congress and current events through the media. As a soldier serving in Truong Sa, I understand that the task of being ready for combat and protecting the 14th Party Congress is both a source of pride and a great responsibility for each soldier.”

To elaborate on this task, Lieutenant Le Hong Thai said that the unit has intensified patrols and guard duties, raising awareness and responsibility in carrying out tasks, especially in managing the assigned airspace and sea areas. Along with that, they have combined education and indoctrination to ensure that soldiers in the platoon understand the regulations to ensure safety and maintain combat readiness during the protection of the Party Congress. At the same time, the platoon has also organized emulation movements, thereby continuously improving the spirit of solidarity and the combat effectiveness of the unit.
Ms. Le Thi Kim Thi, a resident of Sinh Ton Island, also said that on this frontline island of the Fatherland, the islanders have televisions, newspapers, and radio to regularly update themselves on information from the mainland. “During this time, we also receive information and propaganda from local government officials about the 14th National Congress of the Party. Over the years, we have always received attention, both material and spiritual, from the Party and the State, along with the affection of the people on the mainland for those living on this remote island. We have faith in the leadership of the Party and in the success of the Congress,” Ms. Thi shared.

Recognizing the importance of this momentous national event, the officers, soldiers, and people of the Truong Sa Special Zone are determined to make every effort, work hard, produce, train, and strengthen their weapons to protect the nation's borders, contributing to the success of the Party Congress and concretizing the goals set forth by the Congress.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Khuong, political officer of Song Tu Tay Island, emphasized: “In this remote, frontline island of the Fatherland, our naval officers and soldiers are always focused on the 14th Party Congress, steadfastly guarding the sea and airspace of the Fatherland day and night, ensuring the safety of the Congress. While performing our duties on this remote island, we always follow information about the Congress and are confident that it will be a great success.”
Corporal Duong Minh Nhat, a 12.7mm machine gunner on Sinh Ton Island, expressed: “We understand that this is an important event for the country and the people. Every officer and soldier must further enhance their spirit of effort and dedication, striving to improve their political acumen, tactical skills, and marksmanship, protecting the nation's borders, contributing to the success of the Party Congress, and concretizing the goals set by the Congress, which are to develop the country and ensure the people live in peace and prosperity. I feel I have a responsibility to contribute to that noble goal.”

Sharing in the nationwide atmosphere of excitement, the military and people of Truong Sa also expressed their confidence and hope that the Congress's success will lead the country to further development in this era of national progress.
Ms. Le Thi Minh Dieu, a resident of Truong Sa Island, said: “In recent years, socio-economic development has progressed, people's lives have continuously improved, and national security and defense have been ensured. I believe that the 14th National Party Congress will propose important, breakthrough policies and decisions, ensuring continued strong socio-economic development, making Vietnam increasingly powerful and prosperous, and providing the people with increasingly comfortable and happy lives. As citizens living on this frontline island of the Fatherland, we promise that under any circumstances, no matter how difficult, we will always stand united and closely connected with the officers and soldiers on the island, holding our weapons firmly, maintaining unwavering faith, and resolutely defending every inch of the sacred island and sea of the Fatherland.”
Under the leadership of the Party, during the past term, the people of the Truong Sa Special Zone rejoiced and were excited about the great achievements in the socio-economic development of the country. Expressing absolute confidence in the Party's leadership, through the 14th National Congress, the military and people of Truong Sa also conveyed their wishes and expectations to the leadership at all levels regarding policies to bring a more prosperous and happy life to the people, especially the people and officers and soldiers in this remote island.

Representing the residents of Sinh Ton Island, Ms. Le Thi Kim Thi expressed her hope that in the future, the households on the island will continue to receive close attention both materially and spiritually, especially in creating more opportunities for women and providing better education and nutrition for children on the island.
Trusting that the leaders in the new term will continue to lead the country to continuous development, Lieutenant Le Hong Thai also expressed his wish that the military and people in the Truong Sa Special Zone will continue to receive care, love, support, and timely and heartfelt encouragement from the mainland.
