QNgTV - Quang Ngai province has just directed the strengthening of land use fee collection in the area to complete and strive to exceed the revenue target for 2026.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that departments, agencies, and localities continue to implement comprehensively solutions related to auctioning land use rights, allocating land to investors, determining specific land prices, and handling projects that are slow to change land use purposes.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is tasked with urgently advising on the issuance of the working regulations of the Task Force, while closely monitoring the land use fee collection plan to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center is responsible for monitoring and urging the implementation of the land use right auction plan; the Quang Ngai Provincial Tax Department will strengthen monitoring and ensure timely collection and remittance to the state budget.

In the first four months of 2026, total land use fee revenue in the province reached over 500 billion VND, equivalent to approximately 15% of the annual budget; while the total revenue for the whole year is expected to reach around 3,815 billion VND, higher than the initial plan. Boosting land use fee collection is expected to create additional resources for socio -economic development investment in the province in the coming period.
