Home visit and home-based patient management services provided by Van Don Regional General Hospital.
According to the 2026 plan, 10 hospitals have been assigned the task of sending doctors to support health stations, including Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital, Bai Chay Hospital, Dong Trieu Regional General Hospital, Quang Yen Regional General Hospital, Cam Pha General Hospital, Tien Yen Regional General Hospital, Van Don Regional General Hospital, Mong Cai Regional General Hospital and Vietnam-Sweden Uong Bi Hospital.
Based on the actual needs of the locality and the human resources available at the hospitals, the health sector has agreed on a suitable support plan for each health station.
According to the plan, 113 doctors will directly participate in medical examinations and treatment at 39 commune, ward, and special zone health stations; and at the same time support training, technology transfer, and professional guidance for grassroots medical staff.
In addition to providing medical treatment, the assigned doctors also participate in preventive health activities, non-communicable disease management, health education and communication, and community health care in the local area.
The Quang Ninh Health Department expects that strengthening the workforce at the frontline will contribute to improving the quality of primary healthcare services, helping people access healthcare more conveniently and effectively right in their locality.
