In the first quarter of 2025, Quang Ninh's GRDP increased by 10.9%, ranking 7th nationwide.

According to the latest statistics from the Quang Ninh Provincial Statistics Department, in the first quarter of 2025, Quang Ninh's GRDP (gross regional product) growth rate increased by 10.91%, ranking 7th nationwide (after Bac Giang, Hoa Binh, Nam Dinh, Da Nang, Lai Chau and Hai Phong).

Specifically, according to the GRDP growth scenario for the first quarter of 2025, Quang Ninh province aimed for a 10.5% increase; the actual result reached 10.91%.

Specifically, for Sector I (Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries), the projected growth was 7.9%, and the actual growth was 7.9%. For Sector II (Industry and Construction), the projected growth was 7.7%, and the actual growth was 10% (with Industry projected at 6.8% and achieved at 10.1%; Construction projected at 15.9% and achieved at 8.4%). For Sector III (Services), the projected growth was 15.9%, and the actual growth was 14.2%. Product taxes less product subsidies projected at 7.3% and achieved at 6.3%.
