From the morning of June 1st, the sale of E10 gasoline at gas stations throughout the province has been consistent and stable. Wholesale businesses, distributors, and retail agents have completed the conversion of facilities, storage tanks, pumps, signage, and public awareness campaigns to ensure people can easily access and use the new fuel.
According to observations at several gas stations in Ha Long, Ha Lam, Cao Xanh wards, etc., the number of customers filling up on the first day of implementation remained normal. Most people had already grasped the information about switching to E10 gasoline through mass media and publicity from gasoline businesses.
Mr. Le Duc Nghia, from Ha Lam ward, said: "Initially, I had some concerns because this is a new type of fuel being used widely. However, after researching information from relevant authorities and gasoline businesses, I found that E10 gasoline has been thoroughly researched and tested. Using cleaner, more environmentally friendly fuel is an inevitable trend. I fully support this policy."

Mr. Dao Van Thu, from Viet Hung ward, shared: "I frequently use cars and motorbikes, so I'm very concerned about fuel quality. After researching, I found that E10 gasoline can reduce harmful emissions into the environment while still ensuring engine performance. We, the people, hope that the authorities will continue to strictly control the quality of gasoline and diesel fuel so that we can use it with peace of mind."
To ensure a smooth transition, petroleum businesses in the province proactively prepared supplies, organized training for staff, and intensified communication efforts with customers. The distribution system operated stably, with no disruptions in supply or shortages on the first day of implementation.

Along with the widespread rollout of E10 gasoline, some gas stations in the province continue to sell E5 RON92 bio-gasoline to meet the needs of the people, in accordance with the fuel transition roadmap approved by the state management agency. The simultaneous sale of both bio-gasoline products in the initial phase not only ensures a stable supply and meets consumer demand, but also allows people to gradually become familiar with the new fuel, contributing to the effective achievement of green energy transition goals and emission reduction.
In addition to the proactive efforts of businesses, the Market Management Force of Quang Ninh province has also simultaneously launched inspection and monitoring campaigns of gasoline and diesel fuel businesses in many localities to ensure compliance with regulations and protect consumer rights. The focus is on strengthening inspections regarding price listing, origin of goods, product quality, business conditions, and compliance with regulations during the transition to selling E10 gasoline.

Ms. Dinh Tuyet Nhung, Team Leader of Market Management Team No. 5, said: "Even before the official implementation, the unit proactively coordinated with gasoline businesses in the area to understand the situation and disseminate regulations related to the conversion to E10 gasoline. On the first day of implementation, market management forces conducted inspections and monitoring at many stores to promptly detect and handle any violations. In the future, the team will continue to strengthen inspections, focusing on preventing and stopping acts of commercial fraud, mixing substandard fuel, or exploiting the conversion process to speculate and unreasonably increase prices."
According to energy experts, the widespread use of E10 gasoline is a significant step in the roadmap to gradually reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Composed of 10% bioethanol and 90% mineral gasoline, E10 helps reduce emissions of gases and some environmental pollutants, while also contributing to the development of the domestic biofuel industry.

As a locality with a high rate of industrial, service, and tourism development, Quang Ninh currently has a large number of motorized vehicles operating daily. The synchronized implementation of E10 gasoline will not only contribute to reducing environmental impact but also align with the green and sustainable development orientation that the province is resolutely pursuing.
