Ethnic work agencies from the province to the district have proactively coordinated with all levels and sectors in implementing the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority Areas for the 2021-2030 period, Phase I (from 2021 to 2025), with effective investment in poverty reduction.
By the end of the first quarter of 2025, the total planned capital for implementing the socio-economic development target program for ethnic minority areas in 2025 was more than 9.6 billion VND. Infrastructure serving the essential needs of people in the region is getting better and better. The fine traditional cultural identities of ethnic minorities are preserved, conserved and promoted. Localities focus on promoting the role of prestigious people in propagating to people the implementation of ethnic policies in each locality, creating an environment for building solidarity among ethnic groups.
The province has always received support from officials and people of ethnic minority areas, contributing to the effective implementation of ethnic policies. In general, the targets and tasks have all been achieved as planned, contributing significantly to socio-economic development, maintaining political security, and improving the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities.
In the coming time, the province will continue to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority Areas in Tay Ninh Province for the period 2021-2030, Phase I (from 2021 to 2025) and the plan to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority Areas in Tay Ninh Province in 2025.
The Department of Home Affairs will also deploy the implementation plan of Sub-project 2 of Project 9 "Reducing child marriage and consanguineous marriage among ethnic minorities" and Sub-project 3 of Project 10 "Inspecting, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the National Target Program on Socio-economic Development of Ethnic Minorities in the Province in 2025".
