Five new grassroots trade unions were launched at the conference, including: the Trade Union of Luna Ha Long Group Joint Stock Company, the Trade Union of Intercontinental Ha Long Resort, the Trade Union of the Provincial Center for the Care of War Veterans and Cadres, the Trade Union of FTE Ha Long Tourism and Trade Joint Stock Company, and the Trade Union of the Bai Chay Ward Service Supply Center.

Immediately after the launch ceremony, the Executive Committee of the Bai Chay Ward Trade Union proceeded to sign collective labor agreements with 5 newly established units. This is a crucial step in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; and at the same time, building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations within enterprises.

Currently, the Bai Chay Ward Trade Union manages 135 grassroots trade unions with approximately 8,250 members. In its role, the Trade Union proactively coordinates with the Party Committee, government, and relevant departments to closely monitor the situation in various units and businesses, acting as a bridge between workers and businesses in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members.

On this occasion, the Trade Union of Bai Chay Ward launched the campaign to respond to the Workers' Month and the Action Month on occupational safety and hygiene in 2026; commended and presented Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward to 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in the "Outstanding Advanced Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers" emulation movement in 2025 in the ward; and presented 10 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 10 million VND.
