This is the result of a team of scientists at the Central Institute of Horticulture who wanted to develop a highly applicable product that benefits consumers, as they recognize the amazing benefits of purple sweet potatoes.

This product's main ingredient is purple sweet potato, naturally fermented by lactic acid bacteria. It contains no preservatives or artificial colors. In addition to the usual benefits of other yogurt drinks, purple sweet potato yogurt also contains superior components such as high fiber content, resistant starch (considered soluble fiber), and the bioactive compound anthocyanin. Therefore, purple sweet potato yogurt is considered suitable for all ages and has many health benefits.
Wakai drinking yogurt contains a large amount of natural fiber, which absorbs water and stimulates bowel movements, helping to reduce constipation. It's especially beneficial for the elderly and children whose diets often lack fiber. Furthermore, it regulates the gut microbiome, enhancing digestion and absorption. Fiber also helps lower harmful cholesterol (LDL) and increase beneficial cholesterol (HDL). Therefore, a diet high in fiber helps reduce blood cholesterol levels.
