Launching the Quan Ho Electronic Library

BAC NINH - To contribute to preserving, conserving, and promoting the value of the heritage, the Tho Ha Quan Ho Club in Van Ha ward (Bac Ninh) recently launched an electronic library of Quan Ho folk songs.

The Tho Ha Quan Ho Club performed at the library's inauguration ceremony.

This project was built using valuable resources from Quan Ho collector Nguyen Trong Hai and People's Artist Nguyen Phu Hiep, including digitized Quan Ho songs, images, and videos . It not only stores and facilitates easy retrieval of Quan Ho melodies and songs but also provides detailed information about the history, performance art, style, costumes, and customs associated with this heritage.

The library serves as an open repository of information, facilitating research, learning, and teaching, contributing to bringing heritage closer to the public, especially the younger generation. It acts as a bridge between the past and the present, a cultural destination that allows the general public to easily access valuable heritage resources, and simultaneously fosters love and pride for Quan Ho folk music.

This activity is one of the typical community initiatives in heritage preservation associated with the application of digital technology , with practical significance in promoting digital transformation and showcasing Kinh Bac culture to friends both domestically and internationally.
