At the same time, Coach Hua Hien Vinh's team needs to capitalize on the opportunity to accumulate points. Because in the second match, the Vietnam U19 team will face a very strong opponent, Australia U19, a team that will be a direct competitor for a semi-final spot in Group B.

However, securing all three points against Myanmar is predicted to be a difficult task for the Vietnam U19 team. In every tournament, the first match is always tough. Furthermore, the Myanmar U19 team is considered a rather unpredictable opponent.

Yesterday afternoon (July 17th), the Vietnam U19 team visited the Gelora 10 November stadium to get a better feel for the pitch and playing space. Afterwards, Coach Hua Hien Vinh's team held their only training session before facing Myanmar U19 tonight (July 18th). Because preparations were completed early, the coaching staff only gave a moderate training program, mainly focusing on helping the players overcome fatigue and recover their physical condition. In addition, Coach Hua Hien Vinh and his staff also reinforced some important tactical aspects for the opening match.
