This is the traditional ranking of the world's most valuable sports teams compiled by Forbes magazine's experts. Real Madrid remains the most valuable football club on the planet for the fifth consecutive year, their value having skyrocketed from $6.75 billion last year.
According to the same publication, Real Madrid generated record revenue of nearly $1.265 billion, surpassing even long-established clubs from other sports. For example, the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL had revenue of approximately $1.23 billion.
The Spanish royal football club's revenue growth reached 12% year-on-year. This confirms the immense global influence of the Madrid brand.
Barcelona came in second with $7.5 billion, more than $300 million ahead of third-placed Manchester United.
Manchester United's revenue reached $865 million in the 2024-25 season, a season in which they finished 15th in the Premier League and lost in the Europa League final. Their revenue is likely to increase further following this season's successes.
The Premier League has a total of 6 teams in the top 10 and 11 teams in the top 30. Liverpool, the champions of the 2024-25 season, remain in fourth place with a value of $6.2 billion. Meanwhile, Manchester City dropped from fifth to seventh place with $5.5 billion.
Bayern Munich remains in sixth place with $5.7 billion. Paris Saint-Germain rose from seventh to fifth with $5.8 billion. The following positions are occupied by Arsenal ($5.4 billion), Chelsea ($4.2 billion), and Tottenham ($3 billion).
With 11 teams in the top 30, the Premier League has the most representatives. In addition, there are seven teams from Major League Soccer (MLS) on the list, as well as four teams from Italy's Serie A and three from Germany's Bundesliga.
On average, the value of these 30 teams is $2.9 billion, a 21% increase from the record $2.4 billion in 2025.
