In the 6th minute, Ronaldo was given a penalty opportunity but failed to beat Kasper Schmeichel of Denmark. Immediately, fans on social media relentlessly criticized CR7's inaccurate shot.

User Elmi218 wrote: "That was the worst penalty kick I've ever seen." Meanwhile, fan kokkikumar98 sarcastically commented: "How could Ronaldo take a shot like that? It looked like a pass to the goalkeeper." And user blackyy_gee bluntly stated: "I've never seen Ronaldo take a penalty with such confidence."

After Ronaldo's missed penalty, many of his teammates looked disappointed. Bruno Fernandes held his head in frustration for missing an early opportunity to take the lead against Denmark.

Despite missing the penalty, Ronaldo redeemed himself for Portugal with a goal in the 72nd minute, setting the stage for his team's 5-2 victory over Denmark. The other goalscorers for Portugal were Goncalo Ramos, Trincao (a brace), and an own goal by defender Andersen.

Before the match, Ronaldo had the honor of receiving the Guinness World Record for the most wins for his national team (132 matches).

Portugal secured a place in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals, where they will face Germany. The semi-final matches will take place in June.

Five veterans still perform impressively. Despite no longer being at their peak, veterans like Ronaldo, Messi, Modric, Dzeko, and Ramos still shine brightly in their club colors.
