On a crisp autumn morning along the West Lake route, Run For Love 2025 is expected to offer a new experience: a 1.5 km race specifically for children. As October arrives, Hanoi dons a gentle autumn cloak. In the early morning, West Lake resembles a giant mirror reflecting the willow trees and rows of blooming yellow cassia flowers leaning towards the water's surface. Here and there along the roads, around bends, small lakes emerge, revealing the last remaining green leaves of the late-season lotus plants. Occasionally, a cool breeze blows, carrying the fresh fragrance of those leaves, mingling with the rhythm of footsteps as people run past. Just imagining these memorable moments fills the hearts of Mr. Son and Mrs. Ngoc's family with joy.

For the first time registering for the Run For Love 2025 race, Mr. Son and Ms. Ngoc's family, along with their two sons, couldn't hide their excitement. Since receiving the official registration announcement, their small house has become more lively, with stories about running, their experiences at West Lake, and the joy of sharing with the community being repeated over and over again at every evening meal.

“Run for Love” is a place where families connect, culture is shared, and the community is immersed in the autumnal beauty of Hanoi.

What made the whole family even happier was that this year's race route was around West Lake – one of the places where Hanoi's autumn is most vividly present, in every moment, in every breath.

Just imagining the early morning, with the villagers around the lake still sound asleep, a light mist still clinging to the surface, and golden leaves scattered along the roadside, the four members striding together, breathing in the cool breeze, filled their hearts with anticipation.

Although the distance of only 1.5km isn't very long, for Son and Ngoc's family, it was a very meaningful journey.

Every afternoon, after school and work, the whole family goes to the park near their house to run. The two sons usually run ahead, laughing and joking as they go, while their parents leisurely follow behind, encouraging them and listening to their children's breathless but determined sighs. Occasionally, Mr. Son jokes, "We're not just running, we're training to be together as a family." For them, the important thing isn't the achievement, but the message they want to convey to their children: running, like life, always requires effort, perseverance, and sharing with the community. It's only 1.5km, but in that distance, the children will learn that when you have a goal, every step counts.

The whole family, along with other runners, created lasting memories, turning Run For Love 2025 into a complete and loving family celebration.

As the race approaches, amidst the excitement of thousands, Son and Ngoc's family feel small but happy. They will run together on the windy path along West Lake, leaving behind a bond of footsteps and carrying with them a beautiful autumn memory of Hanoi.

To date, thousands of runners, not only in Hanoi but also in many other provinces and cities, have registered to participate. In response to this enthusiastic support, the national airline has added many highlights to this year's running event.
