The activities were carried out in accordance with the plan approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, ensuring absolute safety and on schedule.
The Southern Air Traffic Management Company has directed its affiliated units to closely coordinate in flight operations. Specifically, the company has directed the signing of flight operations minutes between facilities such as: Ho Chi Minh Area Control Center (ACC HCM), Tan Son Nhat Approach Control Center (APP TSN), Long Thanh Air Traffic Control Center.
Signing of the Agreement on ensuring aviation meteorological services for calibration flights at Long Thanh Airport with the Aviation Meteorological Center. In addition, the Southern Air Traffic Management Company signed the minutes of the conference on ensuring safety in conducting flight method evaluation flights at Long Thanh Airport with the Air Traffic Management Engineering Company Limited, Air Division 370, and Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board.

Also according to VATM, after 3 days of continuous flying, the flight crew completed all the flight method assessments according to PBN standards at Long Thanh Airport. The contents include: instrument departure method (SID), instrument arrival method (STAR) using RNP 1 (GNSS) standard, instrument approach method (IAP) according to RNP APCH, combining ILS and RNP 1 systems. Completing the PBN flight method assessment flight is an important step to realize the operation of Long Thanh Airport as planned, ensuring operational efficiency from the first day of operation.
VATM is the investor of Component 2 Project, works serving flight management, Long Thanh Airport Phase 1 Project. It is expected that the air traffic control tower will be completed before September 30, 2025 (excluding installation of specialized equipment). The bidding packages for specialized equipment are expected to be installed and completed in the period from June to December 2025.
