Bac Ninh's industrial production jumped 9.89%

The report on the socio -economic situation in the first 6 months of 2024 by the Bac Ninh Statistics Office shows that growth is promoted in all 3 areas: Industry, agriculture and services. Along with that, price fluctuations in the area are also controlled, major balances are ensured; social security is well ensured.

Bac Ninh's industrial production grew quite impressively.

If in the first quarter of 2024, Bac Ninh's economy changed positively and was somewhat better than in 2023, when the GRDP growth rate in the first quarter only decreased by 3.52% compared to the same period last year (in the whole year of 2023, the GRDP growth rate decreased by 9.28%), then in the second quarter of 2024, GRDP growth increased again with a quite impressive increase (+8.06%) compared to the same period last year.

“ With an increase of 8.06% in the second quarter, Bac Ninh's growth in the first 6 months of 2024 is estimated to increase by 2.32% over the same period ,” informed a representative of the Bac Ninh Statistics Office.

In addition, the economic structure of the province also changed significantly in the following direction: The proportion of the industrial - construction sector decreased by 2.24% compared to the same period; product taxes and product subsidies decreased by 0.09%; while the proportion of the service sector increased by 2.02%, the agriculture - forestry - fishery sector increased by 0.32%.

Bac Ninh Statistics Office said: Entering the second quarter, the world economy continued to face many difficulties and challenges. In that situation, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province had drastic and in-depth leadership, direction and management, proposing solutions with specific scenarios, closely following the situation; enterprises in key industries had positive changes in the product consumption market. Therefore, GRDP growth in the second quarter of 2024 increased again at a quite impressive level.
