Opening the market, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price of SJC gold bars at 119.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 121.5 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 1 million VND/tael (buy) and 500,000 VND/tael (sell) compared to the end of the previous day.
The price of gold rings here increased by 500,000 VND/tael each way, to 114 million VND/tael (buy) - 117 million VND/tael (sell).

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited set SJC gold bars at 119.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 121.5 million VND/tael, 1 million VND/tael (buy) and 500,000 VND/tael (sell) higher than the end of the previous day.
The price of plain round gold rings increased by VND500,000/tael each way, to VND117.5 million/tael (buy) - VND120.5 million/tael (sell).
Meanwhile, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company kept the price of gold rings at 113.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.8 million VND/tael (sell).
The price of SJC gold bars here increased by 1 million VND/tael for buying, to 119.5 million VND/tael; the selling price remained at 121.5 million VND/tael.
During the trading session on May 24, the price of SJC gold bars initially increased by 2 million VND/tael each way, to 121.5 million VND/tael for selling, then fell below the 120 million VND/tael mark, stopping at 121 million VND/tael at the end of the day; the price of gold rings "increased" by 1 million VND/tael.
In the international market, early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,365 USD/ounce, an increase of 55 USD compared to the previous morning when investors bought at a time when prices had fallen sharply in the previous two sessions.
At nearly 9:00 a.m., the gold price was trading at 3,348.4 USD/ounce, about 15.5 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
