Cultural Festival Coming Soon

(To Quoc) - The Vietnam Culture - Tourism Festival and the Vietnam Tourism Introduction Program in China with many attractive activities will take place on November 5 and 8.

Taking place in Kunming City, Yunnan Province on November 5 and Chongqing City on November 8, the Vietnam Culture - Tourism Festival and the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in Kunming and Chongqing are activities towards the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China and the "Vietnam - China Humanitarian Exchange Year" in 2025 - a milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two neighboring countries with a long history and close cultural ties. The festival not only contributes to honoring the unique traditional cultural values of the two nations, but is also an opportunity for the people of the two countries to enhance mutual understanding through cultural, artistic and tourism exchange activities.

The program is hosted by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, in coordination with units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Vietnamese diplomatic representative agencies in China; Departments of Tourism, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of localities; airlines and tourism businesses. The event is not only of diplomatic significance but also an important bridge, contributing to the sustainable development and common prosperity of Vietnam and China in the future.

Vietnam Culture - Tourism Festival and Vietnam Tourism Introduction Program in Kunming (November 5) and Chongqing (November 8)

With a series of other side events such as: Photo exhibition on Vietnam's Heritage - Culture - Tourism; introduction of Vietnamese cuisine; art performance exchange, the event will bring unique cultural features and traditional values of Vietnam, thereby promoting understanding and connection between the people of the two countries, exploring and appreciating each other's culture. At the same time, introduce the image and brand of safe, friendly, hospitable and sustainable Vietnamese tourist destinations; convey new policies and guidelines of the Vietnamese Government on tourism, development orientation of Vietnam's tourism industry; introduce new tourist products and destinations, suitable and attractive to Chinese tourists in the post-pandemic context.

The activities also contribute to introducing and promoting to boost the growth of tourist numbers, including encouraging the expansion of direct flights between major cities in China and key tourist destinations in Vietnam. At the same time, meetings, connections, negotiations, cooperation promotion, and contract signing activities take place to boost the number of two-way tourists between Vietnam and China as well as the restoration of direct flights, helping to increase the accessibility of Chinese tourists to key tourist destinations in Vietnam.

With the strengthening of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of culture and tourism, the Vietnam Cultural - Tourism Exchange Festival in Kunming and Chongqing is not only of diplomatic significance but also an important bridge, contributing to the sustainable development and common prosperity of Vietnam and China in the future./.
