Over 3,000 three-needle pine trees have been planted in Da Lat city as part of the Green Day - Green Life program.
On the morning of October 31st, SASCO planted an additional 3,000 three-needle pine trees in Da Lat city. This program marks the third consecutive year that SASCO has implemented the Green Day - Green Life project, contributing a total of 9,000 trees to Da Lat.

The program saw the participation of a large number of SASCO staff, representatives of the local government, and forest rangers.
According to Mr. Le Thai Son, Head of the Da Lat Forest Protection Department, the three-needle pine is a native tree species with high adaptability to the climate and soil conditions of Da Lat. Pine forests have the potential to absorb CO2 and produce significant amounts of oxygen, making an important contribution to mitigating climate change and biodiversity.
Over the years, Sasco has consistently engaged in activities aimed at environmental protection, joining hands with the community to build a greener environment.
Da Lat has long been famous for its lush green pine forests, creating a unique climate and picturesque landscape. However, under the pressure of urbanization, the area of pine forests is gradually shrinking. Adding three-needle pine trees contributes to preserving the city's unique characteristics, purifying the air, and maintaining cool temperatures year-round.
"SASCO's pine planting activities are in line with Da Lat's ecotourism development orientation and overall planning. We expect projects like this to contribute to creating the 'city in the pine forest' landscape, which is a trademark of Da Lat," said Mr. Nguyen Viet Quyen, chairman of Ward 7, Da Lat City.
Tree planting activities help employees better understand the importance of working together to protect the environment.
