Coming in second after the American golfer was Robert MacIntyre (Scotland), with a total score of -13 strokes. Coming in third was Maverick McNealy (USA), who had a total score of -11 strokes.
Meanwhile, two golfers, Sam Burns (USA) and Tommy Fleetwood (UK), each scored -10 strokes, finishing T4 (tied for 4th place).
In the list of golfers ranked in the upper group of the BMW Championship 2025, there is world number two Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), in T12 position (total score -3 strokes), former world number two Viktor Hovland (Norway), in T7 position (total score -7 strokes)...
These golfers will join Scottie Scheffler at the Tour Championship this weekend. The Tour Championship is the final of three tournaments in the 2025 FedEx Cup playoffs, ending the season on the PGA Tour (the premier men's golf tournament system, equivalent to the Masters in tennis).
For Scottie Scheffler, winning the BMW Championship shows he is in top form, continuing to prove he is still a top candidate for the Tour Championship and the 2024-2025 golf season.
