(Dong Nai) - According to the Department of Construction, Dong Nai will accelerate investment and expand its centralized urban wastewater treatment system in the coming period to meet development requirements and protect the environment.

Currently, several wastewater treatment plants have come into operation, such as: a plant with a capacity of 10,000 m³/day in Dong Xoai ward, a plant with a capacity of 3,000 m³/day in Phuoc Long ward, and a plant with a capacity of 3,000 m³/day in Long Binh ward…

In addition, many large-scale projects are currently undergoing procedures or preparing for investment in the wards of Tam Hiep, Long Khanh, Nhon Trach, Trang Bom, and Long Thanh. Upon completion, these projects will significantly improve the rate of urban wastewater collection and treatment.
