The Ferrari 488 Pista Spider supercar was riddled with bullet holes.

More specifically, the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider that was hit by bullets belongs to a well-known "lottery millionaire" in Germany.

In 2022, Kursat Yildirim, commonly known by his nickname "Chico," won a €9.9 million lottery prize in Germany. Instead of keeping his identity secret, he decided to go public, quickly becoming a popular social media influencer and attracting attention with his lavish spending and collection of supercars.

However, Chico became a target of envy due to the extravagance he flaunted online. In October 2025, his Ferrari 488 Pista Spider was vandalized with a gun by an anonymous assailant in Dortmund.

The car, painted in matte grey Alluminio Opaco, had multiple bullet holes in its hood and front bumper. To date, police have not found the perpetrator.

Instead of replacing the damaged parts, Chico decided to keep the bullet holes as a form of "decoration" on the supercar. He also covered the police markings with clear tape to protect them from the weather.

Launched in 2018, the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider is a high-performance version of the 488 Spider, boasting a design similar to the 488 GTE and 488 Challenge race cars.

The brand's 50th convertible boasts a 3.9L twin-turbo V8 engine, producing a maximum power of 720 horsepower and a peak torque of 770 Nm.

The 7-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox and rear-wheel drive system enable this supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds, before reaching a top speed of over 340 km/h.

The car has a dry weight of 1,380 kg, only about 100 kg heavier than the 488 Pista coupe version. However, the successor supercar, the Ferrari F8 Spider, was not produced in high-performance Pista, Speciale, or Scuderia variants like its predecessors.

Currently, on the secondary market, the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider has an average price of up to $890,000 . However, if Chico wants to pass the upcoming inspection, he will have to repair all the damage on this supercar.
