Tourism students studying at the School of Tourism (HTi), Duy Tan University, can rest assured about the quality of education, as recently, on July 8, 2022, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) recognized two training programs:

• International Hotel Management , and

• International Restaurant Management

Duy Tan University has officially achieved TedQual accreditation with a high score of 771/845 points, satisfying 91.2% of all criteria, and meeting the accreditation requirements for 3 years. This accreditation was chosen by Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong PolyU) - ranked number 1 in the world for Tourism and Hospitality on many rankings - for its training programs. Hong Kong Polytechnic University also provided direct guidance and advice over the past 3 years, helping Duy Tan University achieve this accreditation.

Most of the tourism programs at Duy Tan University are "imported" from Pennsylvania State University, one of the top 50 business and economics schools in the US (according to US News 2022) and one of the top 5 tourism schools in the world (according to UNWTO), including:

• PSU Standard Hotel and Tourism

• PSU Standard Travel and Tourism Services , and

• Restaurant Management according to PSU standards.

Students enrolled in the Advanced and High-Quality programs at Duy Tan University (PSU) will receive 19-21 course completion certificates issued by Pennsylvania State University, USA. These certificates are recognized by American universities and are valuable for students wishing to transfer or pursue graduate studies in the United States.

In every field of study, students have the opportunity to participate in the Global Student Exchange Program – an activity organized with the aim of sending students to many prestigious universities around the world to acquire specialized knowledge, hone soft skills, improve foreign language proficiency, and confidently explore the cultures of those countries. The Global Student Exchange Program is operating very effectively, with a large number of students having gone to France, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Macao, Malaysia, etc., on exchange programs ranging from 6 months to 1 year.

The School of Tourism (HTi) at Duy Tan University has built a complete and diverse ecosystem for its tourism-related training programs, including a 5-star hotel practice facility, a conference center, UTravel travel agency, and a cafe. From this environment, Duy Tan University students always have opportunities to practice and improve their skills, enabling them to confidently work in a real-world environment immediately after graduation.

Thanks to the dedication of the lecturers in the Tourism department at Duy Tan University, the university's Tourism students have achieved many awards and produced impressive scientific research, most notably:

• The scientific research paper "Social media research trends in tourism city context" by two students, Ngo Thi Thu Trinh and Mai Ngoc Tram, was published in the International Journal of Tourism Cities, listed in the SCOPUS Q1 category, on January 25, 2022.

• Duy Tan University's Tourism students were the only representatives from Vietnam to attend "World Tourism Day" for two consecutive years, 2020 and 2021, in the Philippines.

• The title of Vietnam TOEIC Ambassador was awarded to Nguyen Duong Khanh Nhi, a student majoring in Tourism & Hospitality at PSU, with a score of 930/990 in January 2022, and Tra Quoc Thinh, a student majoring in Hotel Management, with a score of 905/990 in March 2021.

• Third prize nationwide along with two additional awards: "Most Popular Project Award" and "Best Supporter Award" at the "ECO-n 2021" final round in 2021.

• Second prize in the HULT Prize competition with the project "Disabled People Make Handicrafts" in 2018.

• First prize in the "Students Try Their Hands at the Tour Guide Profession" competition, along with first prize in the Talent competition in 2017.

Impressed by the sincerity and intelligence of Vietnamese students, along with Duy Tan University's development strategy, Professor Mo Chul Min, former Vice Minister of Culture, Sports & Tourism of South Korea, accepted the invitation to become the Rector of the School of Tourism (HTi) at Duy Tan University.

Throughout his 35 years of dedication to the development of South Korea, Professor Mo Chul Min has held many important positions, including:

• Director of the Tourism Industry Department;

• Secretary-General to the Minister of Culture and Tourism - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea;

• Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea;

• Senior Secretary-General to the President of South Korea for Education, Culture, Sports & Tourism - Blue House;

• Ambassador of South Korea to France,
