Singer Siu Black was warmly cheered by the audience
On the evening of May 11, at Loc Uyen Pagoda, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City, a special art program celebrating the Buddha's Birthday PL.2569 - DL.2025, performed by Meritorious Artist and Musician Vo Thanh Liem, attracted a large audience. The program featured more than 50 famous artists with spiritually meaningful performances that left a deep impression on the audience.
Hundreds of Buddhists and art lovers gathered at the temple to immerse themselves in the sacred musical atmosphere, where songs about Buddhism, motherly love, filial piety and the belief in goodness were sung passionately. Despite the rain, the audience still held umbrellas and wore raincoats to watch.

Opening the program, singer Vo Anh Ngoc performed the medley "A Thousand Years of Lotus Bloom", receiving cheers from the audience. As the daughter of Meritorious Artist Vo Thanh Liem, singer Vo Anh Ngoc has made constant efforts on the artistic path, continuously gaining the public's affection with her sweet, soulful voice.

Artist Chi Tam took the audience back to their memories with the vọng cổ song he composed, "Ve lai chua xua" - as a gentle reminder of spiritual roots. Next was the graceful appearance of People's Artist Thanh Ngan in the ancient song "Hoa Bat Diet" composed by artist Chi Tam, bringing deep emotions and honoring the lasting beauty of religion.
In particular, using advanced techniques, People's Artist Thanh Ngan sang a duet with the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh through a class recreating his voice in the recording of this song 10 years ago. The audience was moved and choked with emotion remembering a stage idol who had passed away but whose singing was still loved.

The medley performances also left a strong impression, such as: The medley "Vong kim lang" was performed sweetly by singer Diem Thuy. People's Artist Trong Phuc lit up the stage with "Bai ca dat phuong nam", while artist Kim Luan was moved by the song "Mother Quan The Am".
Many artists chose to perform to honor the compassion of Buddha, such as Meritorious Artist Cam Tien with "Con quy y Tam bao" (composer Dang Minh), or singer Thuy Duong brought "Khuc hoa Bon su Thich Ca".
People's Artist Huu Quoc conveyed a message of compassion through "The Golden Light of Compassion" composed by himself, Meritorious Artist Thy Trang mentioned "Parents' Grace", and People's Artist Que Tran made her mark with "Life".

Some other special performances include: Meritorious Artist Le Tu - Artist Ha Nhu: "The Nun and the Swordsman", singer Ba Thang - Hoa Hiep: "Mother is the Moon", singer Lieng Kieng Quang and the Gio Viet dance group: "Reciting the Buddha's Birth".
Singer Phuong Thanh received enthusiastic support with two songs: "Offering Flowers" and "Night of Chanting the Lotus Sutra"; Artist Phung Ngoc Bay with the traditional song "Afternoon in Mother's Hometown".

The atmosphere became more exciting with the appearance of singer Siu Black through the song "Vietnamese Sacred Fire" - bringing a strong and sacred atmosphere.
The audience was moved by the song "The letter sent to heaven" by singer Bach Lan, or "Thank you, Father" by singer Hong Loan. An emotional ending was the appearance of Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long with "Sao troi lam gio" and actor Minh Luan with "Que huong ba mien", ending the night in a perfect and meaningful way.

In the shimmering light of flower lanterns and the sound of applause, the Buddha's Birthday Festival at Loc Uyen Monastery has become a beautiful mark, contributing to brightening the path of goodness in each person.
Singer Siu Black was not initially invited to participate, but at the last minute she contacted the organizers to sing in the music night, which was not only an art performance but also a spiritual festival, where artists and audiences together lit up the light of understanding, love and goodness.
