Students who won Silver Medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics were awarded 200 million VND by Lam Dong province.

Dang Huy Hau, a 10th grade IT student at Thang Long High School for the Gifted - Da Lat, was awarded 200 million VND by the People's Committee of Lam Dong province for his achievement of winning a Silver Medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics held in Bolivia from July 27 to August 3, 2025.

On the morning of August 22, comrade Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, awarded the province's 200 million VND prize to male student Dang Huy Hau, 10th grade IT major, Thang Long High School for the Gifted.

Lam Dong Department of Education and Training also awarded a certificate of merit to teacher Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, teacher in charge of the 2025 Informatics team of Thang Long High School for the Gifted.

Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Bich Lien presented a certificate of merit to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, teacher in charge of the Informatics Team of Thang Long High School for the Gifted.

Dang Huy Hau is a student with a long history of outstanding academic achievements, especially in the field of Information Technology, and has won many high prizes in provincial and national competitions for excellent students.

Dang Huy Hau's achievements are not only a source of pride for himself, his family, his teachers and his school, but also an honor for the education sector of Lam Dong province. Thereby, it contributes to affirming the increasingly high position of Lam Dong education on the regional and international knowledge map.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Dang Huy Hau consecutively achieved the top prize in Informatics at the national excellent student exam, including a perfect score of 100/100; Second prize in the selection exam for the National Informatics Olympic Team; Silver Medal in Asia- Pacific Informatics and finally the Silver Medal in the International Informatics Olympiad (IOI).

At the age of 15, Dang Huy Hau was the only 10th grader to be on the National Olympic Team. He was also the first person to win a medal in the international intellectual arena for Lam Dong province both before and after the merger.

Also at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 2 students: Tran Vinh Khang, class 12, Physics major, Thang Long High School for the Gifted, Valedictorian of Block D07 in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam and Doan Thien An, class 12A1 student, Ham Thuan Bac High School, Valedictorian of Block A00 in the Southeast region of Lam Dong province in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training presented certificates of merit and rewards to 12 students with high scores in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

At the same time, 12 students with high scores in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam of Lam Dong province also received certificates of merit and rewards according to regulations of the Department of Education and Training.
