Numerous courses on digital transformation awareness, AI applications in businesses, information security, and cyberattack prevention were organized, helping the team grasp smart manufacturing trends and prepare to apply technology to all operations.
In addition, the company has restructured its Digital Transformation Steering Committee, established an Information Technology Operations Team and a dedicated Information Security Team; and issued new regulations to ensure network information security.
In 2025, DNA will simultaneously standardize economic and technical standards and refine business processes across all departments, creating a unified operational foundation in a digital environment. Based on this foundation, the company will digitize all operations related to materials management, smart warehousing, technical and technological planning, production and business planning, and cost management.
Following the directives of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (TKV), the company has completed the data entry, verification, and approval of data for 2024 and the months of 2025 into the centralized data warehouse system, serving data-driven analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
DNA also upgraded its network infrastructure, deployed timekeeping software, and implemented KPI assignment and evaluation systems, helping to reduce errors and increase the efficiency of human resource management. Notably, the consumption and transportation software was completed, digitizing all product coordination, optimizing costs, and improving operational efficiency.

To date, the company has added servers, perfected its centralized data management platform, and integrated data from systems such as MES, shift management software - production statistics, mechanical and electrical engineering, accounting, sales - transportation, etc., creating a large data warehouse to serve intelligent reporting and future AI applications.

DNA is accelerating the application of IoT, AI cameras, drones, and 5G networks in manufacturing monitoring.
Data from the measuring devices is directly connected to the MES system in real time, enabling early detection of anomalies and shortening troubleshooting time – a crucial step towards a smart factory model.

In 2025, the company will complete the proposal for information security level for the control system of the Nhan Co Aluminum Plant; deploy vSOC to monitor information security 24/7 on outsourced servers. Simultaneously, it will invest in security equipment such as WAF, DLP, NAC, a log monitoring system, and a data backup solution.
Currently, the company's IT infrastructure includes: 7 physical servers, 5 virtual servers, a load balancing system, and four leased lines, ensuring stable and continuous operation.
According to TKV's index, DNA reached maturity level 3.31/5, recording significant progress in the areas of data, production, and management.
DNA has fully deployed key software systems, its IT infrastructure continues to be upgraded, and its technical team is becoming increasingly sophisticated – laying the foundation for accelerating digitalization in 2026. However, the company also faces challenges regarding data consolidation, process restructuring, limitations on historical data for AI purposes, and technology investment costs.

DNA aims to raise its digital maturity level by 3.4 points, strengthen its IT and cybersecurity team; continue to standardize and integrate data; and expand the application of AI, IoT, and drones in production and business.
Key projects include deploying AI cameras in critical locations, building an internal AI chatbot, researching predictive maintenance, and automating financial, accounting, human resources, training, and employee benefits operations.
In 2026, the company will also review and optimize the efficiency of existing software, enhance data integration, and promote training for specialized personnel to improve productivity, safety, and management efficiency.
