The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism actively implements emulation movements associated with the implementation of political tasks.
Accordingly, the emulation movement focuses on key objectives: Effectively applying scientific and technological research results to serve public administration, developing the culture, sports and tourism sectors; synchronously coordinating and implementing solutions to improve research capacity and master advanced technology; striving to digitize 100% of administrative procedure records and recognized tourist destinations; developing modern and safe digital infrastructure to meet the needs of connection and data processing; researching and applying new technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of Things, cloud computing, 5G mobile information, smart cities (Dien Bien Smart).
The emulation movement was implemented with 6 key contents: Raising awareness, renewing thinking, developing digital infrastructure, promoting the application of technology in management activities, building a digital society, ensuring network safety and security and improving the quality of human resources. The Department also focuses on the movement "Digital literacy for the masses", creating conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to be trained in digital knowledge and skills.
Competition criteria are specifically developed for collectives and individuals, linked to the level of task completion, solution initiatives, administrative reforms, database building and innovation index, and digital transformation of the province.
To make the movement more practical, the Department has proposed many solutions: strengthening the leadership and direction of Party committees, linking emulation with political tasks; promoting propaganda and dissemination; organizing professional activities associated with digital transformation; training and fostering digital skills; regularly discovering, praising and promptly rewarding typical advanced collectives and individuals.
The emulation movement is an important driving force contributing to the development of the Dien Bien Culture, Sports and Tourism sector to become modern, creative, and integrated, making practical contributions to the process of building digital government, digital economy , and digital society of the province.
