Exciting Composite Shell Race

Practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), International Labor Day May 1, this morning (April 29), in U Minh town, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of U Minh district to organize the 2025 Ca Mau Province Composite Tire Race. This is an activity within the series of events U Minh Forest Fragrance 2025.

Mr. Do Dang Khoa, Director of the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, said: "This year's open composite tire race has 70 racers from Long An , Can Tho, Kien Giang provinces and localities with tire racing movements in the province, participating in the 800m distance. The race track is the Cai Tau River section in U Minh town, U Minh district. The race is in response to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in Ca Mau province.

80 racers attended the opening ceremony of the Composite Hull Race on the U Minh River.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of U Minh district presented flowers to the sponsors.

“Athletes participating in the tournament must ensure absolute safety and uphold the sportsmanship spirit of “Solidarity - Honesty - Nobility”, opposing all negative manifestations in the competition; the organization must ensure solemnity, safety, practicality, efficiency and economy”, Mr. Do Dang Khoa suggested.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the athletes drew lots for the pairs to compete in a knockout format. The race took place in an exciting and enthusiastic manner, giving the audience thrilling competitions, attracting thousands of viewers and cheering, creating a joyful atmosphere on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's total victory.

A large number of fans were present at the embankment of U Minh town to cheer enthusiastically for the racers.

On this occasion, the organizers mobilized sponsors to give 20 gifts to disadvantaged households in U Minh town.

Mr. Nguyen Phuong Dong, Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the People's Council of Ca Mau province, and sponsor Anh Kiet presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances.
