Introduction: Ho Chi Minh City has a unique geographical location with the Saigon River stretching over 80km, winding its way through the city. This is an advantage for economic development, the construction of ports and urban services, facilitating the development of river buses and river tourism, as well as connecting waterway transportation with other provinces. Therefore, immediately after the approval of the "Development of River Embankments and Riverside Service Economy in Ho Chi Minh City giai đoạn 2020-2045" project, Ho Chi Minh City has gradually "dressed up" the banks of the Saigon River with a modern, airy, and beautiful appearance. The Saigon River has become a "river of trade," not only serving as the spiritual and natural "backbone" but also containing enormous economic potential, identified as one of the few important drivers of change for Ho Chi Minh City in the coming years.
