The electronic tax system will be temporarily suspended on May 9th.

The Tax Department will temporarily suspend a range of services and application systems such as electronic invoices and electronic tax filing from 0 to 8 AM on May 9th.

Today, May 8th, the Tax Department ( Ministry of Finance ) issued an urgent notice announcing the plan to temporarily suspend services and application systems.

Apart from the period from 0 to 8 AM on May 9th, the application systems operated normally.

This unit plans to upgrade its infrastructure from 0 to 8 AM on May 9th. During this time, the Tax Department will temporarily suspend services and application systems.

Firstly, temporarily suspend applications and services that serve taxpayers, including: applications   electronic invoices; information system for handling administrative procedures; services   electronic tax   Business services, e-tax services for individuals, e-tax services on mobile devices, e-commerce portal, e-commerce portal for foreign suppliers.

Secondly, the service of transmitting, receiving, and exchanging information with units under the Ministry of Finance will be temporarily suspended, including: the Department of Information Technology and Digital Transformation; the Customs Department; the Statistics Department; the State Securities Commission; the State Treasury; the Vietnam Social Security; and the Department of Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development.

In addition, there are the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade); the Department of Land Registration and Information Data (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment); the Department of Administrative Procedure Control ( Government Office ); the Vietnam Register (Ministry of Construction); and Departments A08, C06, C08, and V01 under the Ministry of Public Security.

People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities; T-VAN units (organizations providing services for transmitting, receiving, storing, and retrieving electronic tax data messages between taxpayers and tax authorities for electronic tax registration and electronic tax declaration); commercial banks; organizations providing solutions, receiving and transmitting electronic invoice data.

Outside of the aforementioned time period, the application systems operate normally.
