According to the announcement of the People's Committee of Trieu Son district, although the People's Committee of the district, the Department of Education and Training, and the People's Committee of Trieu Son town have propagated, disseminated, and explained the policy and procedures for merging Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School into Le Van Tam Primary School, up to now, the majority of parents of students at Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School have not agreed to the school merger.

Faced with the above situation, to ensure security, order, and ensure the school attendance of students of Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School, the District People's Committee has considered temporarily suspending the merger of the two schools.

The District People's Committee requested the Trieu Son Town People's Committee not to merge schools without consulting with officials, teachers, parents and the people. Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School will remain in its original location and continue teaching and learning as usual.

Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School is required to propagate and encourage students not to drop out of school without permission, which affects their studies; and to propagate to parents to continue sending their children to school. If parents still deliberately do not send their children to school, it is a violation of the children's right to education.

Assign teachers to grasp the situation, the number of students attending class, manage and organize normal teaching. Every day, compile a list of students absent from school without reason, report to school leaders to report to the Town People's Committee...

As reported by Tuoi Tre Online, on the afternoon of March 27, many parents of Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School, Trieu Son town, did not let their children go to school to protest the merger of Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School into Le Van Tam Primary School.

On the morning of March 28, leaders of Trieu Son District People's Committee, Department of Education and Training, and local authorities had a dialogue with people whose children are studying at Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School. At the dialogue, people requested to keep Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School so that students can go to school conveniently.
