Tam Ky inaugurates the Saola Playground project.

(QNO) - On the morning of April 22, the People's Committee of Tam Ky City, in coordination with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MBBank) - Quang Nam Branch, held the inauguration ceremony for the Sao La Playground project at An Xuan Park and An Son Park.

The project is part of the "HiGreen - Green Dawn" initiative launched by MBBank , aiming to raise community awareness about environmental protection through friendly and modern outdoor spaces for recreation, sports, and activities.

After more than 6 months of implementation, the main items such as landscape design, multi-purpose playground, greenery, symbolic mascots, etc., have been completed, bringing a new look to public areas in the city center.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Nam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Ky City, stated that the Sao La Playground project is not only a highlight of the urban landscape but also a symbol of the partnership between businesses and local authorities in creating a livable city, aiming for sustainable development.

The image of the saola mascot – a rare animal characteristic of the Truong Son mountain range – also conveys a profound message about nature conservation and fostering love for the homeland and country in the younger generation.

On behalf of the City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Minh Nam thanked MBBank Quang Nam Branch for its meaningful sponsorship; as well as the design and construction units and technical staff who contributed to bringing the project to completion on schedule.

The city will continue to organize cultural and sports activities associated with these two playgrounds; and at the same time, call on citizens to join hands in protecting and preserving green, clean, and beautiful public spaces.

On this occasion, MBBank Quang Nam Branch donated funds for 2025 to the "Helping Children Go to School" program, aiming to provide long-term support to 5 disadvantaged students in Tam Ky City. The total support amount for the entire period is expected to be 138 million VND.
