Strengthening strategic cooperation, expanding downstream value chain

(QNgTV)- Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) and PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) cooperate to share management experience, strategic planning and seek investment opportunities in key links in the downstream value chain of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group (Petrovietnam).

Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company currently maintains a production capacity of over 950,000 tons of urea and 660,000 tons of NPK per year, stably meeting domestic market demand and aiming for stronger export growth. As for Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company, Dung Quat Oil Refinery has a processing capacity of 6.5 million tons of crude oil per year, equivalent to 148,000 barrels per day.

After completing the expansion upgrade, the Plant will have a processing capacity of 8.5 million tons of crude oil/year, equivalent to 192,000 barrels/day. The Company is also promoting deep processing projects, increasing the proportion of petrochemical products and raw materials.

The combination of the two enterprises' strengths in production - processing and management - investment experience is expected to create great synergy value, contributing to expanding the industrial - energy chain, towards sustainable development and increasing the position of both sides in the domestic and international markets.
