Located in the center of Hanoi Capital, the National Museum of History - an ancient, unique architectural work of Hanoi Capital is a place to preserve, display and introduce a huge amount of documents and artifacts about Vietnamese history from prehistoric times to the present day, including many rare artifacts, collections of artifacts, and national treasures.

Visiting the Museum, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and Foreign Minister Penny Wong were introduced to typical collections of artifacts reflecting the historical and cultural progress of Vietnam. In particular, national treasures of the Dong Son culture such as the Ngoc Lu bronze drum, Hoang Ha bronze drum, Dao Thinh bronze jar, Viet Khe boat tomb... are typical evidences vividly demonstrating the technical level, aesthetic thinking and rich religious life of ancient Vietnamese residents; some artifacts from the Ly, Tran, Le, Nguyen dynasties... clearly demonstrate the process of building and defending the country, at the same time reflecting cultural and artistic achievements throughout the history of the nation.
The visit took place in a friendly and open atmosphere, providing an opportunity to introduce to international friends the treasure of national cultural heritage. At the same time, it also affirmed the role of heritage in enhancing mutual understanding, strengthening trust, promoting bilateral cooperation and sending a message about a Vietnam rich in tradition, open and ready to accompany for a sustainable development future.
